On the edge of Città di Castello’s territory, looking over to Tuscany and immersed in a landscape which only nature can paint, lies the little hamlet of Borgo San Biagio a Colle rising up at the top of a hill to dominate and defend the valley below. It came back to life after centuries of abandon and neglect, returning to its past glorious looks.
The tower alone boasts over a thousand years!
A dream for many. A paradise for a few. The little heart of the Borgo: ancient stones brightened by the colours of lemon trees and hydrangeas bask in the sunlinght, overlooked by the small belltower, that has come back to life with a bell seemingly dropped from the sky. At night, by the light of lanterns and torches, every stone relives its memories, recounting them to those present, wiht in the background a concert of cicadas, rustling leaves and a breeze blowing in from the woods, so that every breath one takes is tinged by magic.
